Don't pay high dollars for golf clubs - buy discount golf clubs

Purchasing golf clubs does not have to break your bank. Although, buying that $400.00 driver and showing it off to your golf buddies is impressive. You can purchase high quality discount golf clubs without effecting your golf game. I have found that many of these discount clubs are just as good, if not better, than some of the high dollar clubs.
There are many brands of  discount golf clubs that are made of the same materials as the high dollar golf clubs without the high price. These discount golf clubs are less expensive because they are not paying the high dollar sponsorship fees and advertising fees. Beware that there are a lot of these discount golf  clubs that are discount for a reason. Some of these clubs are made using inferior materials.
Some of the top brands of discount golf clubs are Acer, Dynacraft, Powerplay, Synchron, Oxygen and Bionik. These particular brands of golf components are not clones of the high dollar name brands, although there may be some similarities. These golf components are designed and built  with tolerances of clubs that cost three times as much and are very high quality. These golf club components are put through some rigorous testing just like the high dollar clubs such as ; CAD, robotic testing, CT and Cor testing ,as well as course tested. These discount golf components are molded in only the top foundries, in many cases, right along side the name brand clubs. These discount clubs will save you from 25% to 75%  compared to the high dollar clubs.
You can match these golf club components with high quality shafts and grips. Using high quality shafts and grips with your discount golf clubs, will greatly improve your chances of success on the course. Some of the clone golf club makers will use inferior materials in the building of there clubs, this can cause pre-mature breakage of the shafts or golf head. You need to make sure you know the manufacturer. Do not buy a discount golf club on price alone, they still need to be of high quality.
You may also get your discount golf clubs fitted. Your local golf shop may do extensive club fitting or you can do  online club fitting at some websites. Although the online club fitting is not as precise as getting fitted by a professional club fitter, it can still be helpful, especially for the novice to intermediate golfer.
In summary, if you want to improve your game without paying high dollars for clubs that may not help your game, purchase high quality discount golf clubs and save 25% to 75%.

Take Your Kid’s To The Golf Course

Golf (as most of us know it) is dad and his buddies killing a Sunday afternoon, drinking a couple of beers and  chasing a little white ball around. But, dad’s have you taken your kids to the driving range or local golf course lately?  Not only is it a great way to bond with your kids, but, it is actually fun to teach your kids that golf is not just going out and swinging your hardest at the ball, to see how far you can hit it. You can show them the finer points of the game and show them that there is actually a strategy on each and every hole they play.

In the beginning you want to introduce your kids to the driving range and practice greens. For the really young kids ( since there eye hand coordination is not fully advanced) the practice greens will keep them satisfied. The excitement they get when they putt it in the hole is worth the trip. The driving range is a good place to start teaching the proper swing techniques to young golfers. It is also the right place to start teaching proper course etiquette. Teaching proper etiquette and course management  at a young age will only make them appreciate the game more as they get older. Most kid’s will love to see how far they can hit the ball, but, you can work on accuracy with them by making a game out of it. Have them pick a target on the range (yardage sign, sprinkler head) and have them try to hit  it. Make a competition out of it. The driving range is also a good place to start teaching proper swing technique. For the young kid’s just keep it simple and fun, you don’t want to make a chore out of playing golf, they won’t want to play anymore.

As your kids get better and you are prepared to tackle the golf course. Pick an off time at your local course and  just start with a couple of holes(as it can take awhile on each hole). Let the kids play the holes all the way out, the satisfaction of completing the holes is well worth it. With older kids you may want to start with 9 holes(18 if you think they can handle it).Teach them to keep a steady pace, so not to back up play. Show them how you would play the holes and what clubs you would use from different lies.

The main thing is to keep there golf experience positive and praise your kids often when they hit good shot or complete a hole. Just remember to have fun and enjoy the time spent with your kids. Believe it or not, those days on the golf course with dad will be memories they will cherish when they get older
New Golf Clubs May Not Help Your Swing
We all have one of those friends, or played a round or two of golf, with someone who is always looking for that new club that will fix his golf game. This guy has spent more money on golf clubs in a year, than most golfers spend in 10 years. You try to tell them that it's probably not the clubs that is making him spend the afternoon hunting balls in the tall grass. You tell him his swing makes Charles Barkley's swing look like Tiger Woods. But, He will tell you " this new driver I saw has such a high MOI (moment of inertia), that it will actually take my ball and throw it  straight down the middle of the fairway every time!". So you just say to yourself "there goes another $300.00 he will throw down the drain."

The bottom line is, if these golfers would head to the club house  and hand that $300.00 to the club pro for lessons instead of the golf shop for that new miracle club, they would be so much farther ahead. We all have little flaws (or big flaws) in our swings, that if fixed could help improve our scores. These golf instructors are trained to look at your swing and and show you what you can do to improve it.

Now, there are some people whose body (let me be gentle here) girth, will only let them swing one way, but, even minor swing changes can have major benefits, these golfers can still benefit from lessons. Golf instructors not only help your swing, but they also can help you with your alignment, ball placement, club selection and also advise you on proper club care and course etiquette. So next time you start reaching for your wallet when you see that great new club that's going to improve your game, why not try lessons first. It may be money well spent in the end.
